Allow yourself the gift of thirty minutes of uninterrupted quiet time each day. Set a timer. Make it as elaborate or as simple as you wish. Find a place and a time to just sit and quiet your mind, relax your body and be still. Allow the thoughts and wanting to take action come and go as you sit, bringing yourself back to each moment. Just be.

Thirty minutes may seem like a long time, but the benefits are far reaching. It may take a few tries to get used to a new habit of the luxury of thirty minutes of quiet time. Once you begin it may change in time, perhaps start of in the early morning or you may find a little later in the day will serve you best. Set your timer and begin. Sit back and enjoy the process.
