About Dr. Debra Harraka D.C, C.M.T.
Debra started in private practice as a certified massage therapist in 1990. She graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City.
In 1993 she studied physical therapy, anatomy, physiology and biology at Santa Barbara City College, College of Marin, and Sonoma State University.
Later Debra continued her education for 3 1/2 years plus 15 months of hands-on clinical study at Life Chiropractic College West to become a Chiropractor. She has practiced since 2001.
Continuing to expand holistic treatments for horses and dogs Debra completed certifications in equine and canine massage therapy in 2012.
Because of Dr. Debra Harraka D.C, C.M.T.’s massage background, she always combines some soft tissue work with Chiropractic adjustments. She believes that relaxing the muscles before adjusting the bone will lead to a longer lasting realignment.
