The nervous system is the most complicated and highly organized of the various systems which make up the human body. But don’t be intimidated. Think of it as the electricity that runs your computer or powers your toaster. When there’s a disruption in the flow, all the normal functions are unable to operate at full capacity, like a kink in a garden hose.
Most of the time it takes a complete shut down of a certain area before we even notice anything is wrong. Symptoms are the last thing to show up and the first to go away. You may experience pain, lack of sensation or a decrease in range of motion.
However, did you know that the nervous every system is responsible for other health issues such as allergies, asthma, stomach trouble, poor circulation, abnormal blood pressure and eye problems, just to name a few?
The central nervous every system is house in the cranial and the spinal column. During the course of everyday life we may, through poor posture, daily activities, stress or injury cause subtle misalignments in our skeletal system. Muscles attach to bones. A misalignment in your spine may cause issues great and small in the overall function of your nervous system.
Like the kinked hose, the electrical lines supplying your body are compromised. Because the nervous system plays such a large role in the function of your body, keeping the spine in proper alignment is very important to your overall health. If you want to give your body the opportunity to function at a greater capacity then I’ll be seeing you soon. Your body will thank you for it!
